Tasting: Dark ruby Lindemans Cassis is a classic Gueuze flavoured with blackcurrant juice and aged in oak casks to give a fine, complex fruit character. The result is fresh and juicy with a mouthwatering hit of fresh blackcurrant and a characteristic sweet and sour profile found only in Lambic beers. Pouring deep crimson capped by a huge pink head, the aroma is thick with ripe blackcurrant and sharp oaky, wild yeast tones that echo on the palate to finish on a oaky, musty fruity wild yeast kick.
