The legendary Ornellaia DOC Bolgheri competes with Sassicaia as Italy’s most celebrated ‘Super Tuscan’ wine. In reality, Ornellaia is very different to its Bolgheri rival. With its significant Merlot component and more new oak, Ornellaia is more opulence and sensual than Sassicaia.
