Kanosuke 嘉之助蒸溜所 Single Malt Japanese Whisky (700ml)
Country/Region: Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan
Background: Kagoshima distillery stands on a beach-front on the west coast of Kagoshima Prefecture. It started operation in 2017 by Yoshitsugu Komasa, from a family with a long history in shochu production. One of the biggest advantages of the distillery is that there is three pot-stills instead of two, which is usual for craft distilleries of similar sizes all over the world. Each of the three pot stills have different neck shapes and lyne arm angle. Both by using different pot stills for redistillation and by blending new make spirits from different new make spirits from different stills, whisky of richer flavors and aromas can be offered.

Kanosuke Single Malt is the first standard product of the Kanosuke distillery in Japan. It is also the flagship whisky from Kanosuke distillery, which is made from lightly peated, and three different pot still.
